These were the main two genrals in the civil war. The won on the left is Ulisus .S Grant, and the one on the right is Robert .E Lee. Lee was the main general for the confederate{South} and Grant was Union{North}.
On April 9, 1865 Lee surrendered to Grant at the Appomatox Court House.
Just four days after Lee surrendered to Grant Lincoln was assinated at the Ford theater on April 13, 1865.And that was the end of our president.
